MYEG net profit up on online services
PETALING JAYA: MY E.G. Services Bhd (MYEG) posted a 92% surge in net profit to RM5.4mil for its first quarter ended Sept 30 compared with RM2.8mil a year earlier due to encouraging growth from its online renewal of auto insurance, road tax transactions and other related services.
Revenue for the period rose 18.2% to RM14.2mil from RM12mil a year earlier, boosted by the number of e-services kiosks deployed and the introduction of new cloud computing-based services, the company said.
