Kencana Petroleum Bhd pre-tax profit for the second quarter ended January 31, 2011 rose by 49 per cent to RM61.99 million from RM41.73 million in the same quarter last year

Earnings per share has actually deteriorated in comparison with corresponding period.
Guess the issued share capital base has increased a lot and the earnings increase did not catch up with the capital invested.
But still worth while to monitor tomorrow.
