Domino's Pizza to have 100 outlest in M'sia

KUALA LUMPUR: Domino's Pizza Malaysia and Singapore targets to open 100 outlets in Peninsular Malaysia by end of next year, its Chief Operating Officer Ba U Shan-Ting said today.
"We
currently stand at 74 Domino's outlets here, and we will close the year
with 77 outlets," he told a press conference after the launch of its
new signature product, the "Cheese Burst Double Decker Crust" here
today.
He also said they will potentially expand the Domino's
franchise to East Malaysia after reaching their goal of 100 outlets in
the peninsula.
On the new product, he said the company was confident of getting tremendous support from customers.
He also said they expected revenue to increase by 30 per cent by 2012.
Ba
also said they were looking into establishing a low fat range menu to
provide customers more variety, but added that there could be a
compromise in taste for this menu.
"The low fat menu will work as
an option for customers, therefore, we do not forsee it to be a huge
money spinner for Domino's Pizza."
Meanwhile, the new Cheese
Burst Double Decker Crust is available in both regular and large pizza,
for a surcharge of RM5 and RM7 respectively. - BERNAMA
