Dialog bids for more marginal field deals

PETALING JAYA: Dialog Group Bhd,
an integrated specialist technical services provider to the oil and gas
sector, is aggressively bidding for two to three more marginal field
contracts next year.

Research said in a report yesterday that it was upbeat on Dialog’s plan
to bid for more marginal field development after securing the 15-year
Balai Cluster Fields (off Bintulu) contract in August together with
Petronas Carigali and Australia-based Roc.
“We are thrilled with
this latest development which could give Dialog additional sources of
long-term earnings. We maintain our outperform call and continue to
value the stock at its sum of parts, which does not factor in the new
marginal fields,” the research house said.
