Tin prices to stay low on dismal demand
Demand for tin in the Kuala Lumpur Tin Market (KLTM) is expected to be dismal next week as traders remain on the sidelines, dealers said.
A dealer said tin price is to remain low on eurozone debt crisis fears.
"Next week's price is expected to fluctuate between US$18,800 and US18,900," the dealer said.
For the week just-ended, tin price fell by US$1,410 to US$18,890 a tonne from US$20,300 on Friday.
Turnover dwindled to 35 tonnes from 234 tonnes on Friday.
The price differential between the KLTM and the LME widened to a premium of US$625 against US$490 on Friday. -- Bernama
