Themed Attractions gets nine marketing partners
PETALING JAYA: Themed Attractions and Resorts Sdn Bhd,
the owner-operator of educational and entertainment theme park in
Mutiara Damansara called KidZania Kuala Lumpur, has signed RM15mil worth
of marketing partnership with nine companies to operate in Kidzania.
Chief executive officer Tunku Datuk Ahmad Burhanuddin said the new partnerships would bring to a total of 20 partners investing in KidZania with a combined value of RM45mil.
“We
will see the total number of partners reach 30 by the time we open
KidZania early next year,” he told reporters on Tuesday after
partnership signing ceremony between the group and the nine companies.
The companies were Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn Bhd, Celcom Axiata Bhd, Commonwealth Travel Service Corp Pte Ltd, Cotra Enterprise Bhd, F&N Beverages Marketing Sdn Bhd, Marrybrown Sdn Bhd, KPJ Healthcare Bhd, RO Water Sdn Bhd and Sony (M) Sdn Bhd.

Ahmad said these new partnerships would see the addition of diverse set
of establishments and professionsm, ranging from surgeons and chefs, to
photographers and tour guides at Kidzania.
“This diversified mix
of companies will ensure a vibrant and varied experience in KidZania to
cater to all children and help to enrich KidZania Kuala Lumpur with its
expertise and knowledge to realize our commitment of becoming the
world's premier educational and entertainment theme park,” he said.
The
RM80mil project is for children aged four to 14, where they can learn
about the world of adult occupations by role-playing different
professions.
Kidzania will occupy about 80,000 sq ft of space in
the new building that is currently being built across the street from
The Curve shopping mall and will house 59 different establishments and
provide 90 different vocations for children to experience.
