Malaysia broking group unveils committee
The Association of Stock Broking Companies Malaysia (ASCM) has unveiled a
new committee for 2012, with Ahmad Azman Abdul Manaf from SJ Securities
Sdn Bhd taking the lead as the chairman.
Meanwhile, Chew Sing Guan from Mercury Securities Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the president.
In
a statement today, ASCM said the vice-president and secretary positions
will be decided by its management committee in the first management
committee meeting in January 2012.
ASCM is a grouping promoting
the interests of the stock broking companies by providing a unanimous
"brokers" voice to relevant authorities and the public.
It also actively participates in all issues directly relating to the
development and progress of the stock broking industry. -- BERNAMA
