Foreign funds bought KL shares for 3rd month
Overseas investors bought Malaysian stocks for a third straight month in
December, the longest monthly streak since July, as the benchmark index
posted its largest quarterly gain in more than a year.
Foreign
funds purchased a net RM800 million (US$255 million) of Malaysian shares
last month, according to data on the Kuala Lumpur stock exchange's
website.
They bought RM700 million of stocks in November and RM1.5 billion in October. -- Bloomberg
