Proton at 4-year high on DRB-Hicom bid
Proton Holdings Bhd rose to its highest level in more than four years in
Kuala Lumpur trading after the Star newspaper reported that DRB-Hicom
Bhd said it made a bid for the Malaysian carmaker.
The stock climbed 3.6 percent to RM5.17 at 9:03 a.m. local time, set for its highest close since Oct. 31, 2007. -- Bloomberg
