Trend Micro sees revenue growth from M'sia
Trend Micro Inc, a global cloud security player, expects an annual 35 per cent growth in revenue until 2014 from the Malaysian market.
Southeast Asia Region managing director Goh Chee Hoh said the target would be achieved by introducing new solutions and products.
"This year, we will introduce three major products for security content and risk management," he told reporters after a signing ceremony for the Trend Micro New Affinity Programme in Kuala Lumpur today.
The programme involves Trend Micro's platinum partners, namely CSC Malaysia Sdn Bhd, HeiTech Padu Bhd and Mesinniaga Bhd.
"This partnership marks a new milestone in serving the needs of small and medium enterprises who are looking for strategic information technology solutions and upgrading of technological capabilities," Goh said.
He said the programme would also enable partners to embrace business change and maximise cloud revenue for their customers.
Meanwhile, he said Trend Micro was in talks with two major local telecommunications companies to provide new solutions for mobile and broadband users.
