'Felda Global's listing plan a right move'

KERTEH: The Bumiputera Remisiers' Association of Malaysia (Pribumi) supports the government's plan to list Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd on Bursa Malaysia, saying it is a right move for the Felda subsidiary to compete in the open market.
Vice-President Ahmad Faizal Mohamed Yusop said the listing would provide a wider market for the company at the international stage.
"The listing is a wise decision by the Felda management to compete aggressively in the local and foreign market and to create a bigger market capitalisation," he told Bernama.
Pursuant to the ambitious plan, Pribumi and three non-governmental organisations would go on a nationwide roadshow to explain the listing benefits to Felda settlers, he added. -- Bernama
