Eversendai clinches RM158mil railway job in Saudi Arabia
KUALA LUMPUR: Eversendai Corporation Bhd's subsidiary has secured a RM158mil sub-contract for the railway station in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
It said on Friday the contract was to undertake the structural steel works in phase one of the King Abdul-Aziz International Airport development project.
Eversendai said the project was awarded to its subsidiary, Eversendai Engineering LLC in Dubai by the main contractor, Saudi Binladin Group Architecture & Building Construction Division.
It said the master plan for the KAIA project would cover three phases to 2035 with the ultimate capacity of 70 million to 80 million annual passengers.
