Rubber mart to see softer trade
The Malaysian rubber market is likely to see softer trade next week in tandem with the weaker sentiment regionally, dealers said.
However, he said the market would continue to be supported by steady demand from China's automotive industry.
For the week just-ended, the rubber market was subdued on lack of activity.
On a week-to-week basis, the Malaysian Rubber Board's official physical price for tyre-grade SMR 20 fell 14 sen to 1,112 sen while latex-in-bulk decreased 16.5 sen to 764.5 sen per kg.
The unofficial sellers' closing price for tyre-grade SMR 20 declined 22.5 sen to 1,1106.5 sen per kg and latex-in-bulk fell 20 sen to 760.5 sen per kg. -- BERNAMA
