Tenaga COO Azman to take over as president, CEO in July
KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd has appointed its executive director and chief operating officer Datuk Azman Mohd as its president and chief executive officer with effect from July 1.
It said on Thursday the board had received the approval from the relevant authorities for Azman's appointment to head the power company for three years. He takes over from Datuk Seri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh.
Azman holds an MBA from Universiti Malaya. He graduated with a bachelor of engineering (electrical engineering) from University of Liverpool, UK.
He joined Tenaga as an assistant district engineer in 1979.
