Telekom Malaysia 1Q net profit falls 32.8% to RM163m

KUALA LUMPUR: TELEKOM MALAYSIA BHD []’s net profit fell 32.8% to RM163.30 million in the first quarter ended March 31 when compared with RM242.94 million a year ago.

It said on Wednesday, may 25 that revenue slipped about 1.1% to RM2.148 billion from RM2.124 billion. The earnings per share reported during the quarter was 4.60 sen compared with 6.9 sen a year ago.

even airasia profit is higher than telekom.... airasia is just nine years old company start from two rented aircraft telekom malaysia monopolize the whole fix line telephone business yet result so lousy.... hahaha
