AHP posts higher Q2 pre-tax profit (4952)

Amanah Harta Tanah PNB (AHP)'s pre-tax profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2012 rose to RM2.288 million from
RM2.210 million recorded in the same period last year.
It attributed the better pre-tax profit to lower property operating
expenditure recorded during the period under review.
Revenue, however, slipped to RM4.014 million from RM4.030 million,
recorded previously, the company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia.
Going forward, AHP anticipates its real estates to perform favourably in the current financial year. -- Bernama
