KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 2): Bursa Malaysia announced it will be close on Aug 8 (Thursday) and Aug 9 (Friday) for the Hari Raya Aidil Fitri holidays.

In addition, trading on Bursa Malaysia Securities and Bursa Malaysia Derivatives will be opened for the morning session of Aug 7 (Wednesday) only. There will be no trading in the afternoon session.

The local stock exchange will resume operations on Monday, August 12.
