Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd today issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query to Sumatec Resources Bhd due its recent
sharp rise in its price and volume.

At 11.53am, Sumatec's share price stood at 76.5 sen, up six sen, with 24.34 million shares transacted.

Investors are advised to take note of the company's reply to the query which will be posted on Bursa Malaysia's website under company announcements when making their investment decision.-- Bernama
