Tan Chong unit in distribution deal

PETALING JAYA: Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd has entered into a distributorship agreement with Vietnam Manufacturing and Export Processing Co Ltd.
The deal is for Tan Chong
to become the exclusive distributor, importer and after-sales service
provider of SYM motorcycles, including spare parts, in Laos.
The agreement was signed via Tan Chong Motorcycles (Laos) Co Ltd (TCML), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tan Chong Motorcycles (Labuan) Pte Ltd, which in turn is a wholly-owned unit of the Tan Chong group.
In
March last year, the group has established TCML in Savan-Seno Special
Economic Zone in Laos to undertake the assembly, sale and distribution
of SYM motorcycles.
