Scrutiny of MBf's credit card tender exercise (1236)

MBf Holdings Bhd's (MBfH) tender exercise carried out by PricewaterhouseCoopers Capital Sdn Bhd for the proposed
divestment of its credit card business is currently in the scrutiny and assessment phase.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, MBfH said negotiations with relevant parties on the divestment of MBF Cards (M) Sdn Bhd were presently continuing.
"MBfH has yet to enter into any formal agreement with any party and the necessary announcement will be made once a formal agreement has been entered into.
"The board envisages to arrive at a decision on the proposed divestment within the next 60 days," it said. -- BERNAMA
