Planters gain on higher palm oil prices

TH Plantations Bhd advanced 2.2 percent to RM2.36 in Kuala Lumpur
trading at 10.04am, bound for its steepest increase since June 19.
Kwantas Corp climbed 1 percent to RM1.98, while Cepatwawasan Group Bhd
added 1 percent to RM1.03, bound for the highest close since July 2.
Palm
oil rose 1.2 percent to close at RM3,124 a metric ton on the Malaysia
Derivatives Exchange yesterday, the highest price for the most-active
contract since May 29. Futures have rebounded 10 percent since reaching
an eight-month low on June 14. -- Bloomberg
trading at 10.04am, bound for its steepest increase since June 19.
