Allianz unveils travel care plan (1163)

Allianz General Insurance Co (Malaysia) Bhd (Allianz General) has introduced the enhanced Allianz Travel Care insurance

plan offering added protection for individuals, families, their belongings and their home while travelling.



"We offer smart travel plans that cater for each individual and
family need. "These plans include travel insurance for adults,
children, senior citizens and the whole family, whether for a short
travel period or for a whole year's trip," it said.



The Child Annual Plan provides travel protection for local students who have to travel frequently for assignments.



"They only need to purchase the policy once a year for a whole
year's protection at much lower cost," said Horst Habbig, Allianz
General Chief Sales Officer in a statement today.






"Allianz Travel Care provides a host of benefits. Most importantly,
travellers can leave their worries behind as their homes are also
protected while their pets are safe in a reputable pet hotel, all taken
care by Allianz," he added.


Allianz Travel Care was first introduced by Allianz General in
2007. Allianz is one of the world's leading insurers and financial
