Yayasan TM in pact with Yayasan Sofa (4863)

Yayasan Telekom Malaysia (Yayasan TM) and Negri Sembilan-based Yayasan Sofa recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding
(MoU) to collaborate on human capital development in education, academia, teaching, research, the arts and heritage.
At the signing, Yayasan TM was represented by Board of Trustees Secretary Dr. Zainal Abu Zarim and director Shafizah Abd. Salam, while Yayasan Sofa was represented by advisor Datuk Mohd. Shukor Sabudin and president Ustaz Abdullah Abdol Razak.
Under the MoU, Yayasan TM and Yayasan Sofa will empower their respective sponsored students through, among others, motivational programmes to instill leadership skills.
In a statement today, Yayasan Sofa said it will also complement Yayasan TM's development programmes with spiritual content.
Yayasan TM, formed in November 1994 and incorporated in January 2007, awards scholarships, grants, bursaries, maintenance allowances and financial assistance to students irrespective of family background. -- BERNAMA
