TM signs service agreement with IJM Land (4863)

Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) today signed a service agreement with IJM
Land Bhd for the provision of high speed broadband (HSBB)
infrastructure in Saujana Duta at S2 Heights, Seremban 2, here.

With
the collaboration, IJM land will be the first property developer in
Negeri Sembilan to offer residents of its new residential development,
Saujana Duta @ S2 Heights, TM's Unifi infrastructure and services.

At
the signing ceremony, TM was represented by its General Manager for
Negeri Sembilan, Salmah Mohd Taufek and General Manager Sales, SME TM,
Azman Yusof.

IJM Land Chief Executive Officer and Managing
Director Datuk Soam Heng Choon and General Manager Central Region for
IJM Land Hoo Kim See, signed for the company.

Salmah said under the service agreement, TM will provide its Unifi, telephony and other related telecommunications services.

She
said residents and buyers of Saujana Duta will be entitled to free
Unifi usage for up to one year and immediate subscription to the
service is available upon moving into their new homes.

"We are
also proud to announce that Saujana Duta@S2 Heights is the first
residential area to be equipped with Unifi in the Seremban area.

"Provisioning of our HSBB infrastructure to new residential areas
through
collaborations with real property developers, and making the units
Unifi-ready, will enable future buyers to experience the new era of
digital lifestyle," she said at the signing ceremony.

She added that the people of Negeri Sembilan had been enjoying HSBB services since 2011, beginning with the Senawang area.

Salmah said by year-end, the service will be made available to
more than 6,624 premises in 20 residential areas, connected to the Senawang exchange.

"The
number of Unifi subscribers in Negeri Sembilan is reaching the 2,000
mark. The coverage will be expanded to the Nilai exchange this year,
with a progressive roll-out to other areas in phases," she said.

Meanwhile,
Soam said the service agreement with TM signified IJM Land's commitment
in equipping its new homes with super fast internet connectivity.

Saujana
Duta @ S2 Heights comprises 201 units of elite semi-Ds and bunglows on
elevated land with a private club house at a gross sales value of RM300
million.
