Malaysian Resources jumps on railway job (1651)

KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Malaysian Resources Corp climbed as much as 5.2 per cent today after a local newspaper reported that the builder was expected to bag a railway construction project worth RM1 billion some time this week.
By 11:48am (0348 GMT), the stock was up 4.62 per cent at RM1.81, with about 5.4 million shares changing hands against the 30-day average volume of 7.78 million. Malaysia's benchmark stock index rose 0.06 per cent. -- Reuters
