Malaysian Resources up on Q2 profit jump

Malaysian Resources Corp, a property and construction group, rose to a one-week high in Kuala Lumpur trading after second-quarter profit jumped 55 per cent to RM19 million.

The stock climbed 1.4 per cent to RM2.26 at 9:02 a.m. local time, set for its highest close since Aug. 5. -- Bloomberg
