TM to offer high-speed Internet at UEM Land's Nusajaya projects

KUALA LUMPUR (April 25): TELEKOM MALAYSIA BHD [] (TM) will
sign an agreement with UEM LAND HOLDINGS BHD [] tomorrow to
offer high-speed broadband (HSBB) to the latter's residential projects in
Nusajaya, Johor.
In media advisory today, TM said its group chief executive officer Datuk
Seri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa will sign the agreement on behalf of the
firm while UEM Land will be represented by its managing director/chief
executive officer Datuk Wan Abdullah Wan Ibrahim.
As at the end of last year, TM's HSBB service had reached 1.38 million
premises, surpassing the government’s target of 1.34 million.
TM's HSBB service, dubbed UniFi, had a subscriber base of 514,000 as
of February this year.
