Trading ideas: IOI Corp, MPHB, BHIC

KUALA LUMPUR: Hwang DBS Vickers Research (HDBSVR) expects IOI Corporation, MPHB and Boustead Heavy Industries Corp (BHIC) to see trading interest on Wednesday.
It said IOI Corporation could continue to see trading interest after it corporate exercise to demerge the property business.
As
for MPHB, after announcing the ex-date on May 27, for its offer for
sale of one MPHB Capital share for every two MPHB shares at RM1 each.
HDBSVR
said BHIC has turned around with a net profit of RM5.1mil in the
January to March quarter. On the outlook for the FBM KLCI, it said the
overnight rally on Wall Street would pave the way for the local market
to resume its upward momentum.
"Technically speaking, the KLCI could advance towards the psychological barrier of 1,800 ahead," it said.
In
terms of news flows, the focus on Wednesday afternoon would be on the
naming of a new Cabinet line-up and the release of Q1, 2013 GDP report.
