KLCI futures mostly higher on renewed buying interest

KUALA LUMPUR (June 4): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives was traded mostly higher this morning on renewed buying interest, dealers said.
As at 9.20 am, June 2013 added 0.5 of a point to 1,765.5, July 2013 added 1.5 points to 1,768, December 2013 rose 4.5 points to 1,768.5 while September 2013 was flat at 1,763.
Turnover stood at 912 lots while open interest amounted to 30,808 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI up 1.56 points to 1,767.89 after 20 minutes of trading.
