KUALA LUMPUR (June 7): Malakoff Corp Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Malakoff International Limited (MIL) has acquired and incorporated four direct and indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries.
Malakoff Corp is a 51 per cent-owned subsidiary of MMC Corp Bhd.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, MMC said the acquisition and incorporation of the subsidiaries were part of MIL's expansion plan for foreign investments in the Asia Pacific region

MMC expands in Asia-Pacific
PETALING JAYA: MMC Corporation Bhd is expanding its presence in the Asia-Pacific region via unit Malakoff Corp Bhd by incorporating four more subsidiaries into its unit.
Filings with Bursa Malaysia showed that its 51% owned Malakoff had incorporated a direct subsidiary, namely, Pacific Goldtree Sdn Bhd, while under Pacific Goldtree would be an indirect unit named Skyfirst Power Sdn Bhd, with both having an authorised share capital of RM400,000 and a paid-up share capital of RM2 divided into two shares.
It has also incorporated Malakoff Australia Pty Ltd under Skyfirst Power, while another incorporated indirect unit Malakoff Holdings Pty Ltd will be wholly owned by Malakoff Australia.
