Glomac confident of RM900mil sales
KUALA LUMPUR: Property developer Glomac Bhd is confident of selling RM900mil worth of properties for the financial year ending April 30, 2014.
Managing director and chief executive officer Datuk F.D. Iskandar said the target was set on the back of new launches scheduled for this year as well as higher sales value from maturing development.
“Currently, we are undertaking between 13 and 15 new projects with unbilled sales at an all-time high of RM827mil and total gross development value of RM7bil.
“We are confident of achieving the target by the end of this financial year,” he said at a briefing in conjunction with Invest Malaysia 2013 conference.
Iskandar said he was optimistic the company would maintain last year’s 10% to15% sales growth on the back of high demand in the Klang Valley, especially for landed houses.
On expansion plans, Iskandar said Glomac was open to land acquisitions in Penang and Johor but continued to focus on greater Klang Valley as its prime destination.
Currently, he said, the company’s land bank stood at 360ha. — Bernama
