KUALA LUMPUR, (July 29): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mostly lower today in line with the downtrend on the underlying cash market, dealers said.
At 9.37 am, spot month July 2013 eased two points to 1,806.50, while August 2013 and December 2013 both slipped 0.5 of a point each to 1,808 and 1,807, respectively.
September 2013 remained at 1,808.
Turnover stood at 5,097 lots while open interest totalled 50,190 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI fell 1.82 points to 1,805.79 after 40 minutes of trading.
