KUALA LUMPUR (July 29): KIM LOONG RESOURCES BHD [] (KLRB) is looking to expand its landbank in Sarawak for its palm oil palntation and milling business.

"We are looking to expand our upstream business by expanding our landbank," said KLRB's executive chairman, Gooi Seong Lim after the group's AGM today.

He added that the ideal location would be in Sarawak as it would be able to produce sizeable land acquisitions at a reasonable cost.

The group is looking for a "sizeable" project for a bigger PLANTATION [] with a new mill. This would add on to its current over 40,000 acres and three mills
