KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 27): Integrated engineering and CONSTRUCTION [] services provider Gabungan AQRS Bhd saw its second quarter net profit surge to RM23 million, up by 156% from RM9 million posted a year ago.
This profit jump in the three months to June 30 was achieved on the back of higher revenues from construction and property development segments as well as a one-off pre-tax gain from land sales.
Revenue for the quarter stood at RM103 million, compared to RM62 million a year ago.
