KUALA LUMPUR: Kelington Group Bhd said on Wednesday it had secured two new orders worth RM18.2mil from a chip manufacturing company and a bio-pharma company.

In a statement, Kelington said RM13mil was awarded by its existing client to provide facility management in mechanical and process installation at its local manufacturing bases for the next two years.

The remaining RM5mil was a contract to supply and install gas delivery systems to its bio-pharma client.

Chief executive officer Raymond Gan Hung Keng said the group is stepping up efforts to expand into other key growth drivers on top of its staple which is in the UHP gas and chemical delivery systems for the high technology industry

“I am pleased that our effort has come to fruition with this new order. We are hopeful to secure more orders from this client over the next two years,” he said.

Kelington said its contract wins are expected to contribute positively to its earnings for financial year Dec 31, 2013.
