KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 18): PUNCAK NIAGA HOLDINGS BHD [] has bagged an offshore oil and gas support-services contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd.
In a statement to Bursa Malaysia, Puncak said it has received the letter of award (LOA) from Petronas Carigali to transport and install riser guards for the operations of Petronas Carigali.
Puncak said the firm via its wholly-owned sub-subsidiary had received the LOA on September 6 this year. The project comes under the package for integrated transportation and installation of offshore facilities for year 2010-2012.
"The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Puncak Group for the current financial year ending 31 December 2013.
"The duration of the contract is from 12 September 2013 to 31 October 2013," said Puncak.
