The prestigious award was presented at the WTA's Asia and Australasia gala ceremony held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
MAS Director of Customer Services Datuk Mohd Salleh Ahmad Tebrani, said the recognition by the WTA was due to the team's passion to deliver Malaysian hospitality, at all customer touch-points.
"We do our best to deliver a high quality customer service, sincerely and consistently, across all touch-points.
"We thank all our travel partners and customers, for voting Malaysia Airlines," he said in a statement today.
The award was a fitting recognition for MAS, as the national carrier celebrates its 41st anniversary on October 1.
The WTA is based on votes by travel industry peers and customer, and the award is a unique benchmark for industry quality and business excellence.
