AirAsia Bhd won the Asia Pacific Value Airline of the Year award at the 2011 Frost and Sullivan Asia Pacific Aerospace and Defense ceremony held in Singapore yesterday.

In a statement today, Regional Head of Commercial for AirAsia, Kathleen Tan said the airline was honoured to receive the award as it was a recognition of industry players with innovative best practices in the evolving playing field. -- Bernama
