all "sugar" fever, but i remember last time there is a stock name call "sugar", now change to bornoil

and jz come back from icapital agm, this year door gift much more better than last year, a 5200mA power bank

Market Close KLCI flat amid profit-taking

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 7): The FBM KLCI closed marginally higher at 1818.39 points amid profit-taking following last week’s gains from pre-Budget 2014 rally.

At 5.00 pm market close, KLCI rose by 0.82 point or 0.05% on gains in stocks such as Petronas Gas Bhd and British American Tobacco (M) Bhd.

The equities bellwether surfaced in the green territory to an intraday high of 1,821.14 points in the morning. It had earlier fallen into the red to a low of 1,814.86 points.

Interpacific Securities head of research Pong Teng Siew said investors were taking profit from last week’s gains prior to the budget.

“The KLCI may be rather flattish for at least another two weeks,” he projected, adding there could be lack of motivational factors for investors to push up the local equities market.

Today, Bursa Malaysia saw 1.76 billion shares worth RM1.36 billion change hands. There were 320 gainers and 449 decliners.

The top gainer was “sin stocks” British American Tobacco (M) Bhd and Guinness Anchor Bhd while the decliners were led by Genting Plantations Bhd. The most-active entity was Hubline Bhd.

Across Asia, Japan’s Nikkei rose 2.19% while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng climbed 0.48%.  Nearer to home, Singapore Straits Times rose 0.03%.

Reuters reported Asian stocks rose on Monday with Australia scaling a five-year peak after a record high finish on Wall Street helped offset worries about tighter credit in China, while investors gave the safe-haven yen a wide berth.

MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan rose 0.8%, recovering a chunk of last week's 1.1% loss -- the biggest in two months -- that was driven by concerns that China may tighten monetary policy to keep prices under control.
