Kossan posts        better Q3 results

PETALING JAYA: Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd’s net profit for the third quarter ended Sept 30 increased 21% to RM35.4mil on a 3.4% higher revenue of RM333.55mil.
On a quarterly basis, its glove division saw higher a quantity of gloves sold but was offset by lower selling price.
“The better performance was due to lower cost of raw materials, better production efficiency and better product mix with higher sale of nitrile gloves,” it told Bursa Malaysia.
The glove maker declared a tax-exempt interim dividend of 3.5 sen per share for the financial year ending Dec 31.
