BEIJING (Dec 8): China's exports came in well above forecasts in November, rising 12.7 percent from a year earlier, while imports rose 5.3 percent, leaving the country with a trade surplus of $33.8 billion for the month, the Customs Administration said on Sunday.
That compared with market expectations in a Reuters poll of a 7.1 percent rise in exports, a 7.2 percent rise in imports and a trade surplus of $21.7 billion. - Reuters
