KUALA LUMPUR (March 11): Rubber price on the Malaysian rubber market closed slightly higher today, on tight supply, said a dealer.
The dealer said that the market also took cue from the gain on Tokyo Commodity Exchange and Shanghai Futures Exchange, respectively.
At noon, the Malaysian Rubber Board's official physical price for tyre-grade SMR20, rose four sen to 613 sen a kg, and latex-in-bulk gained three sen to 485 sen a kg.
The unofficial closing price for tyre-grade SMR20, increased 17 sen to 623 sen a kg, and latex-in-bulk was six sen higher, to 488 sen a kg.
