Compugates up on timber concession buy

Compugates Holdings Bhd, a Malaysian supplier of cellular phones and digital cameras, rose to its highest level in more than two weeks after agreeing to buy a timber concession in the country’s northern Perak state.
The stock climbed 7.7 per cent to 7 sen at 9:43 a.m. local time in Kuala Lumpur, set for its highest close since June 20. -- Bloomberg
