KUALA LUMPUR (Apr 22): SPAZ Sdn Bhd has secured a RM151.98 million contract from Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd to develop Malaysia Airports Academy and other associated works at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. 

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, Seacera Group said the works would commence this month and are expected to be completed in April 2017. 

Seacera is still in the midst of finalising its share subscription agreement to acquire a 60 per cent stake in SPAZ, a construction company.    

With the new contract, Seacera Group said SPAZ's total contract value to date is RM339.92 million. 

"Subject to the completion of the subscription agreement, the works are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Seacera Group," said the group.
