Monday, 11 August 2014 12:16 KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 11): Premium office furniture manufacturer AHB Holdings Bhd aims to be the largest player in the local market within five years. The local premium office furniture industry is estimated to worth about RM200 million per year, said AHB managing director and chief executive officer Yong Yoke Keong. AHB’s local clients include Public Bank, Petronas and BASF Malaysia, he told a press conference today. AHB currently exports about 85% of its products to 25 countries, including Australia, Germany and Africa. Meanwhile, Yong said AHB’s growth strategy includes looking out for acquisitions that will bring high value for its shareholders. "These acquisitions must be synergistic and high profit generating. It should also bring about even higher resilience within the group," he said. |
