Thursday, 14 August 2014 09:37 KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 14): CIMB Research has maintained its Overweight rating on the construction sector and said sector catalysts are likely to play catch-up in the months ahead. In a note Aug 13, the research house said recovery in the flow of contract awards should continue to benefit the sector's late bloomers. It said the focus would be on the beneficiaries of new and large-scale projects, and oil & gas infra. “Investors seeking stocks with the combined attributes of: 1) strong potential order book growth, 2) a recovery story, and 3) high tender book exposure to infra and oil & gas- related bids, should switch to Gamuda, our top big-cap pick, and Muhibbah Engineering, our preferred mid-cap. “We reiterate our Overweight stance on the sector,” it said. |
