KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 18): The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of environmental services provider Cypark Resources Bhd, after disposing of 391,000 shares of the company.

With the sale, the EPF holds slightly less than 5% of Cypark shares.

The shares were sold in the open market, Cypark said in a filling to Bursa Malaysia, but did not disclose the transaction price.

Cypark is engaged in the provision of environmental technology and engineering solutions to both the private and public sectors.

Its services include transforming neglected, degraded or contaminated land into sustainable and manageable fields.

Among its projects are the restoration of a disused mining land in Cyberjaya, and the Taman Beringin Safe Landfill Restoration project in Kuala Lumpur.

Cypark shares closed at RM2.60 today, down 1 sen or 0.37% from yesterday, with 377,000 units changing hands.
