Stock suspension Daya Materials suspends trading on acquisition, fund raising

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 22): Daya Materials Bhd has suspended the trading of its stock from 2.30 pm this afternoon, pending a material announcement.

"The company is expected to undertake a very substantial acquisition, as well as fund raising exercise to part finance the said acquisition," it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

Daya Materials was last traded at 31.5 sen, with 4.06 million shares done.
