Censof bags RM3.5 mln government accounting system contract

[size=14]KUALA LUMPUR (March 3): [size=14]Censof Holdings Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Financial Dashboard)’s wholly-owned unit Century Software (M) Sdn Bhd has been awarded a RM3.5 million contract for the maintenance of the Standard Accounting System for Government Agencies (SAGA) by the Inland Revenue Board Malaysia.
In a filing with the bourse, Censof (fundamental: 1.45; valuation: 0.6) said the three-year contract commenced on March 1, 2015.
“Barring any unforseen circumstances, the board is of the opinion that the contract will contribute positively to the earnings per share and the future earnings of Censof group,” it said.
Censof added that the contract would not have any material impact on the issued and paid-up capital, substantial shareholders’ net asset per share and its gearing.
Censof rose 0.5 sen or 1.1% to close at 44.5 sen for a market capitalisation of RM207.5 million.
