New flights to Langkawi from KLIA : Firefly

KUALA LUMPUR: Firefly will commence three daily flights between the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Langkawi from
December 1, 2011.
"Market research has shown there is good demand for this sector.
"Thus, we are utilising our biggest aircraft, the B737-800, which has a seating capacity of 189," said Firefly's Managing Director, Datuk Eddy Leong.
He said in a statement that the flights would depart from the KLIA's main terminal.
"This is advantageous, especially for those passengers arriving at KLIA's main terminal on Malaysia Airlines (MAS), and taking their own onward flights to Langkawi on Firefly," he added.
Firefly at present flies twice daily from Subang Airport and Penang to Langkawi using its ATR 72-500 aircraft. - Bernama
